BTS New Spotify Record: In an unprecedented achievement, all members of BTS (Jungkook, Jimin, V, RM, Jin, Jhope and Suga) have now surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify under their solo profiles, in addition to their group profile. This milestone cements BTS as the first Korean and Asian group in history to achieve this remarkable feat, further solidifying its global impact and influence in the music industry. With the seven members' success together as a group, ARMYs are celebrating the members' solo successes. 

BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung is a prime example of their success. V's debut solo album, 'LAYOVER', has set several records since its release. After 'Slow Dancing (Piano Ver.)' surpassed 100 million streams, 'LAYOVER' became the first album by a Kpop soloist to have all its tracks reach over 100 million streams on Spotify. These accomplishments are even more significant considering Taehyung did not collaborate with any other artist on this album. Emphasizing pop, R&B, jazz, and lo-fi genres, 'LAYOVER' showcases Taehyung's unique singing style and artistic vision.

'LAYOVER' also became the fastest album by an Asian act to reach these streaming numbers, accomplishing this milestone in just 258 days, breaking the previous record held by NewJeans with their album "Get Up." The album's success is a testament to Taehyung's talent and the unwavering support of his fan base, known as ARMY. Released on September 8, 2023, 'LAYOVER' was celebrated for its avant-garde aesthetic, with Taehyung's dog Yeontan prominently featured on the album covers and music videos.

While Taehyung and other BTS members fulfil their mandatory military service in South Korea, the group's legacy continues to thrive. BTS' oldest member, Jin, who enlisted in 2022, and Jhope, who enrolled in April of last year, are set to be released in 2024. The remaining members will complete their service by 2025, with a highly anticipated reunion planned for the following year.

Meanwhile, BTS leader RM has achieved his historic milestone with his solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person', which has become a million-seller. This accomplishment marks BTS as the first group in which every member has reached million-seller status as a solo artist. Released on May 24, 2024, RM's album features 11 tracks that explore themes of feeling like an outsider and the search for belonging. The lead track, 'LOST!', accompanied by a visually striking music video, delves into RM's signature poetic lyricism and complex emotions.

Despite RM's military commitments, the release of 'Right Place, Wrong Person' has generated significant buzz and anticipation among fans worldwide. This album is RM's second solo project following 'Indigo', launched in December 2022. RM's solo success continues to contribute to BTS' legacy of breaking records and setting new standards in the music industry.
