JE Entertainment Desk: BTS member Suga wrapped up his last Agust D concert in Thailand on June 11, 2023. Recently, Suga started a Weverse live broadcast to chat with his fans while having dinner. During his live chat, the K-pop star asked ARMYs if there were any countries that they'd like to see him and his fellow BTS members perform. During this, Suga himself expressed his desire to go to countries like Spain, Indian and more, a fan requested him to visit China.

Suga then explained that a visit to China wasn't possible due to the country's Hallyu Ban. He further added that even groups with Chinese members are struggling to book promotions schedules in China. "I want to do a Chinese tour too. It's been a long time since I went to China so I want to go. But there's no way for a Korean artist to go and work," he said.

As fans couldn't stop asking the same question, Suga replied, "Chinese tour? I can't perform in China, so how do I have a tour in China? Is there any Korean artist performing in China? I don't think so."

"China. I saw Chinese ARMYs today, too. I can't perform in China. No, I saw this situation, too. In this K-pop, there are Koreans and Chinese and people from other countries. Chinese members of K-pop groups can work in China, but the team can't go and work in China. Anyway, that's that. I don't know why," he noted.

For the unversed, China's 2016 ban on all forms of unauthorised Hallyu or Korean wave pop culture put an end to K-pop groups' ability to perform and advertise in that nation. This is a result of the political hostility that exists between the two nations.

BTS' Suga then mentioned a number of locations and expressed his desire to play wherever ARMYs are and, if possible, carry out at least 50 to 60 shows. Suga revealed, "I really want to perform where there are ARMY. I really don't feel good either. Even if I don't do it in other places, I wanted to do 50 or 60 more shows. I really want to go to Europe, too. I want to go to Africa too, and I want to go to South America, too, and Middle East. Honestly, I want to go anywhere I can perform."
