BTS V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is presently fulfilling his mandatory military service. The Kpop sensation has recently garnered the attention of his new look where he can be soon donning a bulky look as he is focusing on new fitness goals. While greeting the ARMY for the Lunar New Year on their fan platform Weverse, Taehyung also shared that he has been working out on his base. Well, before his enlistment, V shared that he wanted to reach 82 Kg. His weight gain is quite visible in the latest viral photos. When a fan asked about his progress in his fitness goals, the star stated that he had achieved the desired target. 

As quoted by Koreaboo, V shared a note which read, “Are you enjoying your holiday~! It’s a long holiday for a change, so I hope you’re having a great time! As for me, I’m just endlessly working out on base! Not much time left now! I can’t wait to see you soon, hahaha.” A fan asked if he achieved the desired target to which V replied “I did and I’m on my way back!” 

Fans on social media are going gaga over his new look with muscled body. While some are happy about his manly look, some seemingly turned upset as the star said that he reached the target but stated that is ‘on his way back’. Which created confusion among fans about if he would go back to the same figure before his enlistment. 

A fan said, “So he hits his goal & now again trying to get back his previous weight? Before military? Plz tae atleast post a selca of 86 kg taehyung we want to see it.” Another user said, “So he hit 86kg and now he's on the way to previous weight? I'm confused, I thought he said he took photos.” 


On the other hand, BTS V is set to get discharged this year in June. Apart from him, RM, Jimin, Jungkook and Suga will be discharged this year. 2025 is going to be special for BTS fans as they will witness the much-awaited reunion of their idols.
