Deepika Padukone's iconic song 'Deewani Mastani' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's critically acclaimed film 'Bajirao Mastani' was featured on Oscars' official Instagram page. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, the song received love and praise upon its release. The period drama also starred Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.

The actress has consistently brought pride to India on numerous occasions, and she recently delighted her fans once again when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shared a clip of her from Deewani Mastani song. Sharing Deepika's clip, the Oscars' official page wrote, "Deepika Padukone performing Deewani Mastani (sung by Shreya Ghoshal) from the movie Bajirao Mastani. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Actor-husband Ranveer Singh expressed his admiration for the post in the comment section, describing it as 'mesmeric'. A user wrote, "The beauty of Deepika in this song, I don't think any other actress would be able to pull this off like her, this will go down as one of the greatest of all time in Hindi cinema!!" Another added, "Thank you for recognizing the most beautifully shot song of all time and the most talented actress." Deepika Padukone herself shared the post on her Instagram stories.

For the unversed, in March last year, Deepika introduced the performance of the Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from Ram Charan-Jr NTR's RRR at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Composed by MM Keeravani, the song made history as the first-ever Telugu song to win at the Oscars.

Deepika Padukone is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child with Ranveer Singh in September 2024. The actress is embracing her pregnancy with joy and is effortlessly slaying her maternity fashion choices.

On the professional front, Deepika was recently featured in the aerial action thriller 'Fighter,' where she starred alongside Hrithik Roshan. She is set to appear in the sci-fi action thriller 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside Prabhas, scheduled for release on May 9, 2024.
