Deepika Padukone's Special Friendship Day Post For Ranveer Singh: On Friendship Day, Deepika Padukone expressed her affection for her actor-husband Ranveer Singh with a heartfelt message. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a note that read, "Marry your best friend," and tagged Ranveer in the post.

Taking to Instagram recently, Deepika Padukone shared a heartfelt message on Friendship Day. Her note read, "Marry your best friend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs.

"Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute - even when the waters get deep, and dark."

For the unversed, after dating for a period of six years, Deepika and Ranveer got married in November 2018. They have collaborated in multiple films, including ‘Ram-Leela,’ ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ ‘Padmaavat,’ and ‘83.’

Recently, Ranveer treated Deepika to a special screening of his latest film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. After the screening, he shared a fun video on social media where they can be seen dancing to the popular song "What Jhumka" from the film.

In the video, Ranveer playfully gets Deepika to imitate his character Rocky. Deepika can be seen laughing and complimenting Ranveer, saying, "Only you can do this." Ranveer captioned the video with, "She LLLLLLLOVED it! @deepikapadukone #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani."

On the work front, Deepika is all set to feature in the upcoming action thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Disha Patani. According to reports, Deepika will also have a special dance sequence in the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer titled ‘Jawan.’ The movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, and is said to have thrilling action sequences. The film is scheduled for release in September this year.
