Deepika Padukone has been a prominent figure at the esteemed MET Gala red carpet, captivating audiences worldwide with her remarkable style and fashion choices. The 2024 Met Gala is scheduled to happen on Monday, May 6, in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This event will honor the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

As a Global Ambassador representing India, Deepika's presence at international events always generates excitement among fans. It seems like the actor will not be able to attend this year’s Met Gala owing to her work commitments.

Deepika Padukone To Not Attend Met Gala 2024?

Deepika Padukone made her MET Gala debut in 2017, dazzling in a chic slip gown by Tommy Hilfiger, signifying the commencement of her journey as India's foremost global ambassador at this prestigious fashion fundraising event. In the subsequent years, she graced the event in extravagant outfits, such as a striking red ensemble designed by Prabal Gurung in 2018 and a custom-made pink lurex Jacquard gown adorned with 400 three-dimensional embroidered pieces by Zac Posen in 2019.

Now, fans  awaiting Deepika's appearance at this year's MET Gala will be disappointed to learn that the beloved star will not be attending. Sources close to her have revealed that Deepika has committed her schedule to ongoing projects, including the shoot for Singham 3 and the launch of Kalki 2898 AD, scheduled for May.

Deepika Padukone recently announced her pregnancy with husband and actor, Ranveer Singh. The actor took to her Instagram account and shared the news with her fans and followers. According to the post, the ‘Pathaan’ actor’s delivery date is due in September, 2024. Soon after the post went viral, fans sent heartfelt wishes to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
