Dhanush’s Fans Target Nayanthara
Nayanthara faced a vicious cyber attack just a day after she publicly accused actor Dhanush of harbouring "festering vengeance" against her. The backlash was swift and intense, with fans of Dhanush taking to social media to express their support for the actor. The hashtag "Stand with Dhanush" quickly began trending, as a wave of solidarity swept through online platforms.
Dhanush vs Nayanthara Controversy
Dhanush has taken decisive action by serving a substantial Rs 10-crore legal notice to the producers of the upcoming documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale, following the release of its trailer last week. The contentious issue revolves around the documentary's purported inclusion of footage from the 2015 Tamil romantic comedy, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which was produced by Dhanush's production house, Wunderbar Films. This film, written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, who is also Nayanthara's husband, featured Nayanthara alongside Vijay Sethupathi in leading roles.
Nayanthara recently took to Instagram to share her side of the story, revealing that the documentary team had initially sought Dhanush's approval for using footage and songs from "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan". However, after multiple requests, Dhanush reportedly declined to grant permission, prompting the team to move forward with a revised version of the documentary, sans the requested content.
Nayanthara alleged that Dhanush made disparaging remarks about the nearly decade-old film "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan", and further accused him of maintaining a duplicitous persona, hiding his true nature behind a facade of kindness while continuing to exhibit vile behaviour.
