Kareena Kapoor, one of Bollywood's leading actresses, made her acting debut in the 2000 film 'Refugee' opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Since then, Kareena has delivered numerous successful performances in a wide range of roles, earning critical acclaim and a massive fan following. Now, reports suggest that she would be starring alongside Yash in his upcoming film Toxic. The KGF actor had announced the film last year and unveiled its title in December. Although specific details about the project remain undisclosed, there were claims that Kareena would play the lead role in the movie.

Well, Kareena too hinted that the rumours could indeed be true. The actress during her interaction with fans said, "Now, like I said, I might be doing a very big South film. Now it’s like, all pan-India so I don’t know where I’ll be shooting, but I’m excited for all my fans to know that it’s going to be the first time that I will be doing this."

So I think Kareena's film with Yash is confirmed! She said this on a zoom meeting with her fans yesterday.

Yash appears to be embracing an anti-hero persona in the film. Produced in collaboration with KVN Productions, Yash will release the film under his banner, Monster Mind Creations. Generating significant buzz with its announcement video, 'Toxic' is anticipated to be a high-budget production. It marks Yash's 19th film. The film’s tagline reads, "A fairytale for grown up."

Alongside unveiling the title in December of last year, he also shared a teaser video providing a glimpse of his character. The video showcases various anti-heroes, including the iconic DC Comics villain Joker, with each image engulfed in flames, gradually revealing Yash's appearance in the film. In the video, Yash is depicted sporting a pot-belly, a retro hat, and wielding a machine gun, while casually holding a cigar.

Prior to Kareena Kapoor's rumored involvement in the project, reports suggested that Sai Pallavi, was under consideration for the female lead in Yash's film. Additionally, speculation also mentioned Raashii Khanna as another potential candidate for the role.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is preparing for the release of 'Crew,' where she shares the screen with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Rajesh A Krishnan directorial film produced by Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, scheduled for release in theaters on March 29th, 2024. Additionally, she is currently filming for Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Again.'
