Megastar Amitabh Bachchan debunked rumors of ill health as fake news, definitively putting an end to speculations about his hospitalisation. Amid reports suggesting that the actor underwent angioplasty due to either a clot in his leg or a blocked artery, he appeared to deny such claims. A video circulating on social media platforms captured the actor exiting from the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. The stadium hosted the final match of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata on Friday night.
In a video circulating on social media, Amitabh Bachchan is seen exiting the stadium when someone from the crowd asks about his health. Initially gesturing that everything is fine, Bachchan dismisses the reports by stating, "Fake news."

His Instagram post features a photo shared by Amitabh, showing himself alongside his son Abhishek Bachchan and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar at the ISPL 2024 final. In the caption, Big B talked about spending time with Sachin and wrote, "What a humbling experience t his evening at the ISPL FINALS ,to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN .. and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about Cricket."

On Friday, news of Amitabh Bachchan's admission to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital where he underwent angioplasty circulated widely. According to reports, that the angioplasty procedure was not related to his heart but rather targeted a clot in his leg.

Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Neena Gupta's film, 'Goodbye.' His upcoming projects include the highly anticipated 'Kalki AD 2898,' featuring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, rumoured to have a massive budget exceeding Rs 600 crore. Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki AD 2898' is set in a dystopian world and features an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, and Pasupathy in key roles.
Additionally, Bachchan will appear in the next installment of 'Brahmastra' and play a role in the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Vettaiyan,' alongside Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Manju Warrier.
