Bastar Box Office Collection Day 1: Adah Sharma's film, which aims to depict the harsh reality of Naxalites in the Bastar region, opens to low numbers on the ticket windows. Bastar: The Naxal Story hit the theatres on March 15, 2024. However, after the film featuring was released, it received overwhelmingly negative feedback from audiences. Bastar: The Naxal Story earned around 0.50 crore net on its first day. It had an overall 7.97 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Friday, March 15, 2024.

The film is facing a tough competition from Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha and Ajay Devgn-R Madhavan's Shaitaan. It's worth mentioning that while Yodha falls into the action thriller genre, Bastar is said to portray the brutal attacks by Naxalites. Consequently, both the films generated significant anticipation ahead of their releases, sparking discussions about their potential performance at the box office.
