Yodha Box Office Collection Day 1: Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna led Yodha hit the theatre screens on March 15. The action thriller opened up to positive early reviews. According to Sacnilk.com, the action-packed movie, which marks the directorial debut of the duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, raked in over Rs 4 crore nett on its opening day in India. With noticeable growth since yesterday, the positive word-of-mouth is expected to further drive box office performance.

The plot of the movie centers on an off-duty soldier who courageously confronts terrorists and saves passengers on a hijacked plane, overcoming obstacles like engine failure. Sidharth Malhotra takes on the lead role of Arun Katyal, with Raashii portraying Priyamvada Katyal. Alongside them Ronit Roy, and Tanuj Virwani portray significant characters in the storyline. Early estimates indicate that 'Yodha,' garnered around Rs 4.25 crore in net revenue on its opening day in India.
According to Sacnilk, the film recorded an overall 13.86 per cent occupancy in Hindi theatres on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Yodha is encountering a strong competition from the Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika starrer Shaitaan. After completing a week in theaters, the film earned Rs 4.61 crore on Friday alone, bringing its total collection in India to Rs 84.36 crore.

The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. During a promotional event in Delhi, Sidharth stated, as reported by news agency ANI, "Yodha is a completely fictitious story. We have created a new task force - Yodha. So when you create something from zero, then you can take a lot of liberties. We have done many variations in the film and also the action I got to perform is very different from Shershaah. Here I am more energetic, and lean, and use different sorts of weapons. It is a far more commercial and entertaining film. I think it has got my best of action sequences that I have done in last decade or so."
