Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun starrer Telugu movie has been roaring at the box office. The film has been making a lot of noise on social media for various reasons. The recent buzz is Tarak Ponnappa, who played an important role in the film, was mistakenly considered Indian Cricketer Krunal Pandya by the fans due to their uncanny features. Many viewers on social media showcased their excitement on Pandya’s acting debut. This turned out to be false, as the role of Buggi Reddy was played by none other than KGF actor Tarak Ponnappa. 

Notably, Buggi Reddy is one of the pivotal antagonists in the Telugu action thriller. In the film, Buggi is the nephew of Central Minister Kogatam Veera Pratap Reddy. His role flourished in the climax of the movie. His appearance and performance were highly appreciated by the audience.

In 2019, Krunal wished Ajay Devgn on his birthday. He then called himself his doppelganger.The cricketer wrote on X, “Singham Superstar and my doppelganger Happy birthday to one of my favourite actors @ajaydevgn #HappyBirthdayAjayDevgn.” While reacting to it, Ajay wrote “Thanks Krunal.. Ek double role ki film saath mein karte hain!”

Coming back to Pushpa 2, the movie is currently aiming for the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide. The film was released in theatres on December 5, 2024. It stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari and Divi Vadthya in key roles. The film has been directed by Sukumar.
