Reports of their relationship emerged online last year during the announcement of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya's engagement to Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha, who is busy promoting her debut production Subham, shared a series of photos from the sets on her Instagram handle. However, a picture of her with Raj caught everyone's attention. She left fans wondering if it's hint about their rumoured relationship.

Samantha and Raj's dating rumours erupted after they worked together in the Prime Video series Citadel Hunny Bunny. After they had made several outings together and also appeared on Samantha's feed. Recently, the duo were spotted together at Tirupati Temple. The photos from their spiritual visit went viral. Although neither Samanatha nor Raj has addressed these rumours yet but their pictures are sparking the dating rumours.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her debut production movie Subham, which is being produced under her home banner, Tra-la-la Moving Picture. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the movie stars Harshith Reddy, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas, and Shravani. The actress plays a cameo role in the movie. Subham is scheduled to release on May 9, 2025.
She also has Maa Inti Bangaram, which Samantha is also producing under her banner. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, and the rest of the details are under wraps. The actress is also set to reunite with filmmaker duo Raj and DK for Rakht Brahmand.
