Flashback Friday: Watch BTS' Jungkook Reveal His Mother's Dream Of Golden Rain And Seven Piglets Before His Birth

BTS member Jungkook earned the moniker Golden Maknae from his fans due to his wide range of talents. Interestingly, it's worth noting that Jungkook's mother had a dream about gold before he was born.

When Jungkook was 20, he revealed details about his mother's taemong, which is a conception dream in Korean tradition. According to this belief, the taemong can be experienced by either the expectant mother or individuals close to the baby. These dreams are considered to be premonitions of the child's conception or birth and are believed to reveal symbols that signify the child's gender or destiny.

According to a report from Soompi, Jungkook shared details about his mother's dream in an interview with Focus News. He described the dream by saying, "Rain started to fall in a village but the places that got touched by the raindrops turned into gold."

At BTS' 5th Muster [Magic Shop] event held in Seoul in 2019, Jungkook had shared that his mother had a second taemong (conception dream) where she saw about seven black piglets nursing from their mother. Jimin playfully asked if the mother pig represented Bang Si-hyuk, the CEO of the previous HYBE Entertainment, who is known as the mastermind behind BTS.

During the same interview with Focus News, Jungkook, who was 20 years old at the time, had expressed his anticipation about the future and shared, "I am really interested to find out what I will be doing next." Fast forward five years, and Jungkook, along with his fellow BTS members, has achieved remarkable milestones such as receiving a Grammy nomination and dominating the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a consecutive period of 10 weeks.

On the work front, Jungkook, at the stroke of midnight on June 30 (KST), unveiled a teaser image and announced the title of his upcoming digital single, 'Seven,' which immediately went viral on social media. As per the announcement, 'Seven' is set to be a refreshing summer track that will bring an electrifying energy to the hot season.

The singer recently also triggered speculations of a collaboration with luxury brand Bulgari following his interactions on social media with its CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin. Jean-Christophe Babin added fuel to the rumours by featuring a song by Jungkook on his Instagram story and expressing his arrival in Seoul, South Korea for an important event. Furthermore, he began following Jungkook's fan pages on Instagram.
