Set in 1971, a span of 24 years subsequent to the events of the iconic movie 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' the sequel unfolds. Tara Singh (Sunny Deol), now a revered national figure, leads a modest life with his son Jeetay (Utkarsh Sharma) and wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel). He nonchalantly keeps meeting an Army Colonel and gets recruited as a Civil Hired Transport (CHT) personnel.
Tara's task involves delivering ammunition to the Indian army grappling in the conflict of 1971. However, he encounters a significant setback that prompts his son Jeetay to venture into Pakistan in an attempt to rescue his father. Upon arriving there, he discovers that his father is not present, and the ensuing events form the core narrative of the movie.
