Gadar 2 Box Office Tsunami Continues On Day 2: 'Gadar 2' has made a remarkable impact at the box office, emerging as a strong contender. The movie features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles. It went head-to-head with 'OMG 2,' starring Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam, in the battle for box office supremacy. The directorial effort of Anil Sharma achieved a stunning opening collection of Rs 40.10 crore. Amidst the heightened anticipation for the film, a touching video showcasing a young fan's affection for Sunny Deol has gained viral traction across social media platforms.

At the promotional event of 'Gadar 2', a little fan walked up to Sunny Deol and touched his feet. Interestingly, the little one was dressed as Deol's character Tara Singh from the film. A paparazzo shared the video on Instagram with a caption that read, "Tara Singh with Jr Tara Singh. Sunny paaji having moment with little fans as they promoting Gadar 2, tell us about your views on Film. #sunnydeol (sic)."

Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 2:

Following the success of its predecessor back in 2001, 'Gadar 2' entered the scene with considerable anticipation. Apart from the revival of cherished characters, it introduced new talents within an engaging storyline. The film's strong opening on its debut day suggested a promising and thrilling journey that lies ahead.

On Day 2, 'Gadar 2' minted Rs 43 crore and experienced an occupancy rate of 65.40 per cent in Hindi. This brings the movie’s total collection to Rs 83.10 crore in India.

About Gadar 2:

Taking place in 1971, a span of 24 years after the events of the iconic film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' the sequel's story unfolds. Tara Singh (Sunny Deol), now a respected national figure, lives a simple life with his son Jeetay (Utkarsh Sharma) and wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel). He casually sometimes meets an Army Colonel and ends up being enlisted as a Civil Hired Transport (CHT) personnel.

Tara's task involves delivering ammunition to the Indian army grappling in the conflict of 1971. However, he encounters a significant setback that prompts his son Jeetay to venture into Pakistan to rescue his father. Upon arriving there, he discovers that his father is not present, and the ensuing events form the core narrative of the movie.
