The much-awaited follow-up to the 2001 hit movie 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', titled 'Gadar 2,' had its highly anticipated theatrical premiere on August 11. The historical action-packed narrative, featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, was warmly embraced by the viewers. Earlier, it was claimed that an exclusive screening of the film will be arranged for the President of India. However, there is no truth to it. According to PIB, "It is a regular screening that happens in Rashtrapati Bhavan & President had not wished for any such special screening. President is not attending the screening."
A report in India Today claimed that director Anil Sharma exclusively told the portal that the President's office has made a special request for a screening of 'Gadar 2' which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 13, in New Delhi. However, it turned out to be false.

Renowned for his remarkable depiction of Tara Singh, Sunny Deol once again captivated the audience with his compelling performance in this period action saga. Ameesha Patel returned to her role as Sakeena, Tara Singh's beloved who eventually becomes his wife.
