Good Bad Ugly: Actor Ajith Kumar’s much-anticipated action-comedy Good Bad Ugly hit theatres on April 10 and received a highly positive response from audiences. Fans celebrated the film's opening day with full enthusiasm—dancing to drum beats outside theatres and cheering inside cinema halls. Among the crowd was director Adhik Ravichandran, who watched the first day, first show with fans and later shared Ajith’s reaction to the film’s reception.
Good Bad Ugly director Adhik Ravichandran credits Ajith Kumar for multiple get-ups in the movie. In an interview with Thanthi TV, director said, “Ajith sir is very happy with the response Good Bad Ugly is receiving.” Praising the actor's dedication, he added, “It was Ajith sir’s idea to don multiple get-ups in the film. He also decided to lose weight during filming—so all credit goes to him.” Adhik Ravichandran often has shared his admiration for Ajith. In a previous interview, he revealed that meeting him changed his life.
About Good Bad Ugly
Inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown, Good Bad Ugly delivers a gripping action-packed narrative. The story follows Arjun (played by Ajith Kumar), a man who embarks on a perilous mission to rescue his family from a notorious group in Azerbaijan.
Adhik Ravichandran directed the film, while Mythri Movie Makers produced it. The cast includes Trisha Krishnan in the lead female role, alongside Jackie Shroff, Redin Kingsley, Rahul Dev, Prasanna, Sunil, Arjun Das, and Raghu Ram in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the film’s musical score. The film received a massive response during advance bookings, collecting Rs 15 crore for its opening weekend at the Tamil box office. It recorded a Rs 7.85 crore first-day collection, signaling a strong start. Good Bad Ugly arrived in theatres just months after Ajith Kumar’s previous film Vidaamuyarchi, which released on February 6, 2025.
