HanuMan OTT Rights: Teja Sajja-starrer Telugu superhero film 'HanuMan' has created a lot of hype among the audience ever since its announcement. The movie grabbed a lot of attention after the release of its trailer, which gave some insight into the storyline. 'Hanuman' has promised to be a perfect blend of mythology and fantasy and will be made into a franchise. According to the latest reports, the makers of 'HanuMan' have already locked the film's OTT rights.

According to a report by OTTplay, Zee5 has bought the OTT rights of 'HanuMan' for a big amount. The movie will release on Zee5 after its theatrical run.

'HanuMan' recently got involved in a controversy after director Prashanth Varma wanted to make his movie into a bigger franchise than 'Avatar' if it worked well. He was trolled for his statement but later clarified that he wanted to push his boundaries and dream big.

He said, “If HanuMan works well, it would potentially open doors for Indian filmmakers to explore ambitious VFX-driven projects like Avatar. That’s my intention in the interview! Pursuing such creative aspirations is a testament to the industry’s willingness to dream big and push our boundaries. Nothing wrong with dreaming big.”

The movie was supposed to release in 2023 but got pushed to January 12, 2024. The official statement reads, "All your humongous love for the Hanuman Teaser has touched our hearts and raised our responsibility to deliver the best outcome. We promise you a film that will be cherished. celebrated and will stand as a perfect olde to Lord Hanuman. From heart to heart, we can't wait for you to experience HanuMan on the big screens. A new release date will be announced soon."

Directed and written by Prasanth Varma, the movie also stars Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty and Vinay Rai. 'HanuMan' is set in the fictional village of Anjanadari and is produced by Primeshow Entertainment. HanuMan will have a 'Pan World' release in several languages including Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.
