House of the Dragon Season 3: The highly anticipated third season of the popular American fantasy drama series is set to bring a new storyline with fresh cast additions. The show is based on the book Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin and is set roughly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. The upcoming season is currently in the works and the makers of House of the Dragon have added three new cast members to the series.
House of the Dragon Season 3 New Cast
Actor Tom Cullen, known for The Gold and Trespasses, Ando fame Joplin Sibtain and Barry Sloane are roped in as new cast for the new season of the hit Game of Thrones prequel. As per Variety, Cullen will portray Ser Luthor Largent, with Sibtain will be seen as Ser Bold Jon Roxton and Sloane playing Ser Adrian Redfort. The new faces that were previously announced for Season 3 include James Norton as Ormund Hightower, Tommy Flanagan as Lord Roderick Dustin, and Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly.
Returning Cast To House of the Dragon Season 3
The new members of season 3 will join the regular cast to add more drama and action to the world of Westeros. The returning cast includes Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, among many others.

Ryan Condal is returning as a showrunner along with George R.R. Martin, who co-created the series. Both serve as executive producers. The series will feature eight episodes. The directors include Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere the third season of the House of the Dragon franchise. Since its debut in 2022, the show has become extremely popular among viewers. They are eagerly awaiting for the new season.
