Housefull 5 Release Date: Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh have joined hands again for the fifth instalment of the comedy film franchise 'Housefull'. Both the actors took to their official social media handles to announce the film along with its release date. The details about the rest of the cast and plot of 'Housefull 5' have not been revealed yet.

'Housefull 5' will release in theatres on June 6, 2025.
Announcing the release date, Akshay Kumar wrote on Instagram, "5 times the entertainment is on its way! See you in cinemas on 6th June 2025."

After announcing the release date, producer Sajid Nadiadwala issued an official statement about what the audience should expect from 'Housefull 5'. The statement reads, "The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be releasing on 6th June 2025."
'Housefull 5' was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali 2024.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'Mission Raniganj' along with Parineeti Chopra. The movie did not perform well at the box office and is currently streaming on Netflix. He was also seen in 'OMG 2' along with Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. He will next star in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', 'Hera Pheri 3', 'Welcome To The Jungle' and 'Jolly LLB 3'.
Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in the Marathi film 'Ved', which was also his directorial debut. The movie also stars Genelia D'Souza and Jiya Shankar in the lead roles and is a remake of the 2019 hit Telugu film 'Majili'. He will next star in 'Kakuda' and 'Visfot'.
