One of the most popular actors of Hindi film industry, Irrfan Khan paved his own way to superstardom with his work in movies including Life of Pi, Hindi Medium, Paan Singh Tomar, Piku and many more critically acclaimed films. Fans of the actor were heartbroken when Irrfan Khan passed away in 2020 after battling with cancer for years.

Fans of the superstar will get a chance to watch their favorite actor on the big screen once again. Irrfan Khan’s last film ‘The Song of Scorpions’ is now all set to release in theatres. According to reports, the film will be released a day before the actor’s death anniversary.

‘The Song of Scorpions’ will be released on 28th April 2023, and will be clashing at the box-office with Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’. Directed by Anup Soni, the film also stars Waheeda Rehman and Shashank Arora.

Speaking about the film, producer Zeeshan Ahmed said, “It is my honour that my name has been associated with this film as a co-producer and one of the presenters of the film. We are glad that Irrfan Khan's last onscreen appearance in a film is soon going to be released in cinemas across the country and his fans will get to see him one last time on the big screen. Trust me, Irrfan's character and performance in the film is going to leave you spellbound."

‘The Song of Scorpions’ was premiered at Switzerland’s Locarno Film Festival. As soon as the news of its theatrical release came out, several fans of Irrfan Khan took to Twitter to give their reactions.

One user wrote, “#IrrfanKhan sir's last movie "THE SONG OF SCORPIONS" is going to release in cinemas on 28th April. Hope people do go to see it. Long live cinema, long live his legacy !” Another comment read, “Irrfan Khan Sir Last Movie Going To Release In Threature April 28 First Day First Show ❤️ I Invited You All Bollywood Fans Let's Celebrate Together Irrfan Khan Presence Last Time In Big Screen Love You #IrrfanKhan 🙏❤️ You're The Reason I Started Loving Bollywood.”
