Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood superstar and politician, is all set to make her Hollywood debut with an upcoming horror drama titled ‘Blessed Be the Evil’ with Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf and Scarlet Rose Stallone, the daughter of Sylvester Stallone. The movie is being produced by a US-based production company Lions Movies. 

According to the reports in Variety, the production of ‘Blessed Be the Evil’ will begin this summer in New York. The producers have deliberately chosen US locations to avoid running into any uncertainty with Trump tariffs. The film's concept revolves around a Christian couple dealing with the grief of a miscarriage. In search of a new beginning, they purchase an abandoned farm with a dark and sinister history, only to have their love and belief system tested by a malevolent force.

The film is directed by Anurag Rudra, who also co-wrote the script with Gatha Tiwary, president and founder of Lions Movies. The director shared the inspiration for the story and said, “Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories, and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema - the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality.” The film’s cinematography will be handled by Wade Muller, who has worked on films such as ‘Elephant White’ and ‘Occupation: Rainfall.' 

Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, is a highly acclaimed actress, known for her powerful performances in Bollywood films. She has won four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards, and is also a Member of Parliament in India's Lok Sabha. Her last directorial project ‘Emergency,’ where she played the role of Indira Gandhi, received a global release earlier this year.

With ‘Blessed Be the Evil,’ Kangana Ranaut is set to make a bold statement in Hollywood. The film's unique blend of horror and drama, combined with Kangana's talent and credentials, makes it a highly anticipated project. With its talented cast and crew, ‘Blessed Be the Evil’ is shaping up to be a must-watch horror film of the year.
