Operation Sindoor: Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut and Suniel Shetty showed their support when word spread about Operation Sindoor. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Riteish Deshmukh, Nimrat Kaur and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar were among others who hailed the Indian Army in response to India's overnight attacks on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (Pok) and other regions of Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor.
Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao's strong reactions came shortly after the Ministry of Defence confirmed that the Indian Air Force had hit multiple terror infrastructure sites in PoK and Pakistan’s Bahawalpur region. The strikes, carried out from within Indian territory, were described as 'measured and non-escalatory.'
Akshay Kumar wrote, "Jai Hind, Jai Mahakaal" along with a poster of Operation Sindoor on X (previously Twitter).

Kangana Ranaut shared several videos on her Instagram stories. On her X handle though she wrote, "OPERATION SINDOOR: ZERO TOLERANCE TO TERROR. The Indian Armed Forces launched a precision mission, Operation Sindoor; 9 terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir neutralized," alongside a video.

Suniel Shetty shared a post on his Instagram handle along with a powerful note. "Terror has no place. Zero Tolerance. Total Justice," he wrote alongside Operation Sindoor poster.

The terrorist incident in Pahalgam on April 22 claimed the lives of 26 people. India retaliated by launching Operation Sindoor. Reacting to this, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, 'Jai Hind ki Sena...Bharat Mata ki Jai! Operation Sindoor.'

The actor's post was made shortly after the Ministry of Defence confirmed it. In Pakistan's Bahawalpur region and PoK, the Indian Air Force has destroyed numerous terrorist hideouts.
Additionally, Nimrat Kaur posted about Operation Sindoor on her Instagram handle, and the text read, "United with our forces. One country. One mission. #JaiHind 🇮🇳 #OperationSindoor."

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar posted about this attack on X (previously Twitter) at 5 in the morning. "Our prayers are with our forces. One nation, together we stand. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram," he wrote.

What Is Operation Sindoor?
The Indian Army and Indian Air Force worked together in the early hours of Wednesday, May 7, to demolish nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir in response to the terror attack in Pahalgam. The Indian Army stated in a statement issued at 1. 44 AM IST that the military attacks were conducted under 'Operation Sindoor.'
