Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan, the Tanu Weds Manu Film franchise fame, are soon going to grace our screens with yet another project. The film as Kangana announced on her social media last year will be a psychological thriller. Announcing her new film, Kangana Ranaut wrote on X, “Today in Chennai we started filming our new film, a psychological thriller. Other details coming soon. For now need all your support and blessings for this very unusual and exciting script”.

Adding to the excitement, on February 12, Ranaut shared a selfie with Madhavan from the script reading session of their upcoming movie. 

Taking to her Instagram story, Ranaut wrote, “Back with my favourite @actormaddy for another stunning script.” Sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from the session, she wrote “What a fabulous team @tridentartoffi.”

R Madhavan took to his Instagram and reshared Kangana’s story and wrote, “And the excitement begins with the awesome and one and only Kangana Ranaut.” Adding to the fans’ anticipation he wrote, “Can’t wait for you to see this one.”

R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut have worked in the Tanu Weds Manu films. The first, Tanu Weds Manu released in 2011 and its sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns released in 2015. The two films were loved by audiences and critics and garnered good numbers at the box office.
