Matka Box Office Collection Day 4: Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary starrer Telugu movie has been struggling to gain numbers at the ticket windows. The movie was released in theatres on November 14 and had a massive box office clash with Suriya’s Tamil movie Kanguva. The film has been failing to impress audiences even after garnering mixed responses. The movie marks a big star cast including Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi and Naveen Chandra. If it continues to perform the same way in the coming days, the movie will be a huge box-office failure.
Matka Box Office Collection Day 4
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.44 crore on Day 4. The net collection of Matka stands at Rs 2.56 crore. The movie had an overall 17.22 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres. It had 10.17 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 16.01 per cent in the afternoon shows, 19.73 per cent in the evening shows and 22.97 per cent in the night shows.
Matka Budget
If reports are to be believed, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 35 crore. The film has been directed by Karuna Kumar. Matka has been backed by Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Talluri.
About Matka
The story is set against the backdrop of Matka gambling scams that took place in the country from 1958 to 1982. It features Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Saloni Aswani, Kishore Kumar G, Ajay Ghosh, Mime Gopi, Satyam Rajesh and P Ravi Shankar in key roles. The film has been directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Talluri.
While announcing the release date of the movie, Varun wrote “The game is set! Coming on November 14th 2024. #MATKA #MATKAonNOV14th.”
