Idli Kadai Review: Today, October 1, 2025, Dhanush's eagerly anticipated movie Idli Kadai finally opened in theatres around the world. The Tamil heartfelt drama is positioned as one of the year's largest multilingual releases because the actor not only starred in it but also wrote, directed, and co-produced it under his Wunderbar Films label in association with Dawn Pictures. G.V. Prakash Kumar wrote the music for Dhanush's fourth film as director. Idli Kadai, which was released during the Navratri festival, began shows at 6 AM. Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, R. Parthiban, and Samuthirakani play key parts in the movie.

Idli Kadai's first day first show was attended by fans, and social media has been ablaze with reviews. The initial response for the Tamil drama has been positive to mixed. Many praised the second half's emotional depth and referred to it as a heartwarming family entertainer.  owever, some were less thrilled, praising the film's screenplay and describing it as lacking.  A couple of viewers commented that several performances didn't completely fit and that the pacing was strange.

Dhanush portrays a dedicated village cook in Idli Kadai, assuming a role that blends grit and emotion. Given his comeback to a negative character, fans have been excited by Arun Vijay's appearance as the adversary.
