Anil Kapoor, known for his charismatic screen presence in movies like Animal, No Entry, and Mr. India, is reportedly set to appear in an upcoming Telugu film alongside Suriya. This recent report in 123Telugu has generated considerable excitement, especially after his recent success in Animal, which resonated strongly with Telugu audiences. Kapoor made his theatrical debut in the Telugu movie Vamsa Vruksham. Report further indicates that director Venky Atluri has met with Anil Kapoor for a special role in the untitled project.
Although, in an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the director Venky Atluri denied all the reports and held them false. The director stated, “We haven’t even approached Anil Kapoor. I haven’t met him or even spoken to him over the phone. We don't know how these rumours cropped up, hence these reports are false and baseless.” Talking about Suriya he further added, “I’m truly excited to work with such a talented actor.” With this statement the director has dismissed all the claims made by news portal 123Telugu.

About Suriya’s Movie
The Suriya project is being produced by Sithara Entertainments on a massive budget and is targeted for a summer 2026 release. The Telugu movie is reportedly shot as a bilingual in both Telugu and Tamil and not as a dubbed version. Meanwhile, Suriya recently wrapped up the shoot for his another anticipated blockbuster Karuppu.
Anil Kapoor’s Work Front
Anil Kapoor recently shared screen space with Jr NTR in War 2. The movie also starred Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in the lead role and is ruling at the box office. Currently, the Animal actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming gritty action drama Subedaar. Helmed by Suresh Triveni, the movie is slated for an OTT release on Prime Video and also stars Radhikka Madan in lead role.
