CIFF 2025: Celebrating India Film Festival, Delhi's first major film festival, is scheduled to take place on the 78th Independence Day of India. CIFF 2025 is being organized by Graphisads in collaboration with FTII, the Film Critics Guild, and IGNCA, and is set to take place in the NCUI Auditorium on Siri Fort Road from August 8 to 10. It will be a cultural landmark for the capital city.

With CIFF 2025 starting at 11 AM and ending at 9 PM, Delhi is set to become the future center of Indian cinema culture. This three-day event honours India's story, its people, and its dynamic spirit through everything from captivating documentaries and classic films to close-up discussions with India's leading creative minds.

One of the festival's main attractions is the screening of India Lockdown, which was produced by Pranav Jain and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, a National Award winner. To add a bit of nostalgia, viewers will be treated to special screenings of two timeless masterpieces -  Manoj Kumar's patriotic epic Kranti and the 4K-restored Umrao Jaan, headlined by legendary Rekha.

Aham Bharatam, a provocative new documentary by renowned director Bharatbala, who is known for making classic films like Maa Tujhe Salaam, Incredible India, and Virtual Bharat, will also be premiered during the festival.

All About CIFF 2025 Lineup

Celebrating India Film Festival is expected to feature a mashup of live acts, movies, and music. Three-time Grammy Award winner Padma Shri Ricky Kej will formally debut his brand-new song video, Gandhi – Mantra of Compassion. Hema Sardesai, a Bollywood playback singer, is also expected to give a live performance in Delhi.

CIFF will bring together a wide range of industry leaders, actors, and creators for insightful discussions. Notable speakers and guests include filmmakers R.S. Prasanna and Divy Nidhi Sharma (Sitaare Zameen Par), Gaurav Dhingra (Stolen producer), Sudipto Sengupta (Kerala Story director) and Amit Rai (Oh My God 2 director). Joining them are well-known film and television personalities like Pavan Malhotra, Geetanjali Mishra, Aastha Chaudhary, Hrishitaa Bhatt, and Hemant Pandey, who will share their experiences navigating the evolving cinema and OTT landscape.

The festival will be attended by prominent dignitaries, including Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Chief Minister of Delhi; Mr. Vijender Gupta, Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha; Mr. Kapil Mishra, Cabinet Minister; Mr. Manoj Tiwari, Member of Parliament; and Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Former Union Minister.
