Dharmendra had a dramatic personal life, which has been filled with love, complexity and emotional endurance. The legendary actor, who charmed the audience with her performance, had often made headlines for his married life. When Dharmendra moved to Mumbai, he was already married to Prakash Kaur. At that time, he had only one dream that to make a big name for himself in the industry. With each passing years, he started establishing his career in Bollywood. It was then when he met Hema Malini and fell in love. The couple’s love blossomed on the sets of Tum Haseen Main Jawaan in 1970. It soon became talk of the glamour world.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini faced several hurdles in their relationship. Despite facing opposition from the actress’ family, they finally tied nuptial knot in 1980. Dharmendra’s second marriage created a rift in the family. Hema Malini used to live separately in her Bungalow whereas the superstar stayed with his first wife Prakash Kaur and their four children-Sunny, Bobby, Ajeeta and Vijeta. Their daughter, Esha once recalled that she didn’t meet Kaur until she turned 30. But over the years, the families maintained distance, with a sign of mutual respect and acceptance.
Recently, Bobby Deol shared the equation of his parents and stated that they both live at their farmhouse in Khandala. He also shared that Dharmendra has made a paradise there and living happily there.
In an interview with ABP Live, Bobby Deol said, “My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic. They love being at the farmhouse. They’re also old now, and being at the farmhouse is relaxing for them. The weather is nice, the food is nice. Papa has made a paradise out there.”
He continued, “Papa is very emotional. He’s very expressive. Sometimes he goes overboard, and I ask him why he wrote what he wrote or said what he said, and he tells me that he was just following his heart.”

Bobby also talked about why her mother always stays away from the limelight. The actor said, “You don’t hear about my mother much because people don’t usually ask us about her. “She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life. She’s had a very tough journey. She came from a small village and had to adjust to city life as the wife of a superstar. It wasn’t easy.”
“I am what I am because of my wife, and it is the same with my father. It is because of my mother’s support that my father became a big star,” the actor added.
