Mrunal Thakur has enthralled viewers with her transformation from an adored television personality to a prominent figure in Indian cinema. Over the course of her seven-year career, the actor has appeared in a number of movies in Telugu, Hindi, and Marathi. While Mrunal Thkur featured in Super 30, Pippa, and even made a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, she made a name for herself in the South film industry with Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna. The actor is currently enjoying the success of Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn. Showing in theatres at present, the comedy sequel also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Ravi Kishan.
You'll be surprised to learn that Mrunal Thakur auditioned for Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan during her early days in the movie business. Yes, you read that right! She revealed that her audition procedure was 'lovely' in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. Additionally, Mrunal and Aamir participated in a look test for the 2018 film, which was supported by Yash Raj Films.

Mrunal Thakur turned down Thugs of Hindostan to escape YRF's three-film agreement contract since she believed it would harm her career, according to a report by Filmfare. She then acknowledged that Fatima Sana Shaikh was cast in the part, and Mrunal ultimately decided on Love Sonia.

Despite being released during a celebration like Diwali, Thugs of Hindostan failed miserably at the box office. The 2018 movie, which had a staggering budget of Rs 300 crores, grossed Rs 52 crores on its first day of release. Thugs of Hindostan did not receive positive reviews from reviewers or audience members, and it failed in three days, leaving theaters empty. The Yash Raj Films banner produced Thugs of Hindostan, was shot in far-flung places including Malta, Morocco, and Thailand. The audience was incredibly excited about the movie since Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan marked their first ever collaboration with this action-adventure.
Coming back to Mrunal Thakur, she began her acting career at the age of twenty. In 2012, Mrunal made his debut on the television program Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan. After appearing in Ekta Kapoor's hit television series Kumkum Bhagya, she rose to fame. 2018 saw Mrunal Thakur's feature film debut with Love Sonia. Super 30, Batla House, Toofaan, Dhamaka, Jersey, Pippa, and more films are among the ones she has worked on.
