The success of the film Dhurandhar has taken actor Akshaye Khanna's acting career to new heights. The 50-year-old actor has portrayed the role of Pakistani gangster Rehman Dacoit with complete dedication in this film, for which he is receiving widespread praise. Now, Akshaye Khanna has spoken openly for the first time about the film's massive success. The actor's reaction was somewhat casual.

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra selected Rahman for the role of the dacoit in director Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar. Mukesh recently spoke openly about this in a latest interview with Miss Malini and also shared Akshay Khanna's reaction to the film's success.

Mukesh said, "I spoke to him (Akshay Khanna) this morning. I even asked him what he thought about the success of Dhurandhar. He said it didn't make much of a difference. But he really enjoyed it. That's all he said." "While I was on set, I observed his process. He reads a scene multiple times and works with complete preparation. Not only that, but he also carefully maintains his aura. However, he lives in his own world, which sets him apart from others," Chhabra further added.

For the unversed, Akshaye Khanna stands out as one of the most accurate portrayals in Dhurandhar. He portrays Rehman Dakait very precisely. The real photographs of Rehman which are now doing rounds on social media features a man with piercing eyes and a cold, calculated stillness—traits and as evident from Akshaye's role in Dhurandhar, he perfectly incapsulates the character. His transformation closely matches the gangster’s real appearance.

Khanna was recently spotted performing a vastu shanti puja at his Alibaug residence, with a video shared by the priest going viral online, showing him dressed casually in a white shirt and blue jeans as he took part in the rituals alongside three priests. Priest Shivam Mhatre shared glimpses of the ceremony on Instagram and wrote, "I had the good fortune of performing a traditional and devotional puja at actor Akshaye Khanna’s residence. His calm nature, simplicity, and positive energy made the experience truly special."
