Idli Kadai Box Office Collection Day 2: Dhanush and Nithya Menon starrer Tamil movie has been maintaining a steady and strong momentum at the ticket windows. The film, which was released in theatres, has already crossed Rs 20 crore in just two days of release. Without much promotion, Idli Kadai has proved that good content can anwhich way make it to the heart of people. The film received good reviews from the audience and it is quite evident from its performance. It faced box office clashes with Kantara Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 10 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Idli Kadai stands at Rs 21 crore. The film had an overall 59.87 per cent Tamil occupancy on Thursday. It had 34.98 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 70.02 per cent in the afternoon shows, 69.21 per cent in the evening shows and 65.26 per cent in the night shows.

The Tamil movie is about a man named Murugan, who leaves his village and his father’s idli eatery to pursue his dream of becoming a renowned chef. Years later, he works for a multi-millionaire Vishnuvardhan, in Bangkok and is scheduled to marry his daughter, Meera. After hearing the news of his father’s demise, he visits his village. But his homecoming is not pleasant and his father’s legacy is at stake. He has the task things to make things in his favour.
