Idli Kadai Box Office Collection Day 7: Dhanush and Nithya Menon starrer Tamil action family drama movie, which released in theatres on October 1, has been struggling to gain good numbers. However, the film maintains the same and steady pace at the ticket windows. Idli Kadai has just crossed Rs 40 crore and is slowly moving towards half century mark. The Tamil movie needs to improve its pace to gain the Rs 50 crore milestone soon.

Idli Kadai Box Office Collection Day 7

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 1.50 crore on Day 7. The net collection of Idli Kadai stands at Rs 41.65 crore. The film had an overall 19.69 per cent Tamil occupancy on Tuesday. It had 14.62 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 19.50 per cent in the afternoon shows, 20.60 per cent in the evening shows and 24.05 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of around Rs 104 crore. The film is far from the budget mark.

What Is Idli Kadai All About?

The movie is about a man named Murugan, who leaves his village Sangarapuram in Theni district to pursue his dreams of chef in Dubai. After an unforeseen catastrophe, he is forced to come back to the village. He realises the value of the village and stands for whatever his father wished for against all odds forms the crux of the story, as per the official premise. Idli Kadai stars Dhanush, Nithya Menon, Shalini Pandey, Arun Vijay, Rajkiran, Samuthirakani and Geetha Kailasam in pivotal roles. It has been helmed by Dhanush and produced by Dhanush, Aakash Baskaran.
