Indian star cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal’s wedding festivities have officially begun. The celebrations started with the Haldi ceremony. The videos from the ceremony have been going viral on social media. The Haldi event was held on November 21 and was attended by Palash's sister, Palak Muchha, and her husband, Mithoon. From Smriti’s side, her friends from India’s women’s cricket team- Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Arundhati Reddy, Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Singh Thakur, Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh have attended the ceremony.
Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s Haldi ceremony was not just a star-studded event but also a fun-filled event. Everyone who was part of the festivities can be seen dancing and enjoying the beats of some popular wedding songs. Not just the cricket team, but Palak, Palash and Smriti were also seen dancing to the beats of the dhol and songs. In one video, Palash can be seen removing flowers from Smriti’s head during the ceremony, while the cricketer also did the same, which melted the hearts of many netizens. In another picture shared by Palak, she can be seen putting haldi on his brother Palash. Mithoon was also seen doing the same in another photo. The theme of the Haldi ceremony was yellow. All the guests and the bride and the groom were seen donning yellow traditional attire.

Notably, Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal are all set to tie the knot in Sangli, Maharashtra, on November 23. To announce their wedding festivities, Smriti, along with her teammates, shared a fun video on November 21, where they can be seen dancing to the Samjho Ho Hi Gaya song from Lage Raho Munna Bhai. On the same day, Palash also shared a video of themselves when he proposed to Smriti at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. At the stadium, the two can be seen exchanging rings as Smriti said ‘Yes’ to Palash. The heartwarming engagement has gone viral on social media on the same day. Now, their wedding festivities have been making a buzz on the internet. The couple’s fans cannot wait to see the wedding photos and videos.
