Entertainment Desk, New Delhi: GIGMEDIA's much-awaited 'The Platform' theatre fest concluded with great success at Aram Nagar, Versova. Mumbai's creative hub became a hub of talent, dialogue and inspiration. Organised in association with Jagran Film Festival and Natya Kiran Manch, the three-day festival ran from October 10 to 12. From riveting plays to a host of workshops, The Platform showcased how GIGMEDIA is bridging the gap between talent and real opportunity. Redefining India's performing arts sector.

The festival calendar included a series of masterclasses and seminars by eminent theatre and film personalities such as Rahul Bagga, Akhilendra Mishra, Akash Dahiya, Dev Faujdar, Vipul Mehta, Salim Arif, Jayant Deshmukh, Dalbir Kuntal and Vaman Kendre. Each session drew a large audience eager to learn from industry stalwarts, reflecting the growing appetite for creativity in India.

The evening was enlivened by powerful performances including "Gagan Damama Bajyo" (written by Piyush Mishra and directed by Dev Faujdar), "Veer Gokhala" and "Azaade Andaz" (both written and directed by Dev Faujdar). Each play was greeted with thunderous applause. GIGMEDIA now plans to launch a nationwide upskilling drive for over 50,000 artistes in partnership with the Skill India Mission and the Media and Entertainment Skill Council, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing India's creative economy.
