Kajol, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming horror thriller Maa, recently reacted to her ‘scary’ image speculations and comparisons with Jaya Bachchan for ‘no-nonsense’ banter with paparazzi. Netizens on social media feel that the actress is a bit intimidating in real life as they see her with no filter behaviour with shutterbugs, which goes viral online. Kajol gave a befitting response to the speculations, and her reaction is unmissable. Here is what the Maa actress said.
In an interview with Zoom, Kajol said “It’s okay if you believe that I’m scary, please go watch Maa.” The actress also revealed how her children react to those videos. Kajol quoted them, saying, “See, Mama, you’re so natural. See, what you are at home is what you are outside.”
While talking about the pressures of dealing with paparazzi, Kajol added, “They’re waiting for you to say something. They coax you, they push you, till you have to not scream back at them but at least say, ‘listen guys calm down.’ You know, you don’t need to yell and scream to get a good picture.”
“It’s not about just clicking a picture or just clicking a video anymore. It’s about a reaction that they want because it has a tagline attached to it, or they can attach some sort of a negative tagline,” she concluded.
