In his caption, the fifth grader admitted he didn’t mean to sound rude and was simply nervous during the show. “Hello everyone, I want to sincerely apologise for my behaviour on Kaun Banega Crorepati,” he wrote. “I know many people felt hurt or disappointed by how I spoke, and I truly regret it. I got nervous, and my attitude came out wrong. During the episode, Ishit appeared confident and impatient at times, asking Amitabh Bachchan not to explain the rules and urging him to “lock” answers quickly. Many praised his maturity in admitting his mistake, calling it a sign of growth. One user commented, “He’s a child who realised his mistake don’t turn this into trauma for him.” Another wrote, “Apni galti swikarna bhi bahut bada kaam hai. Very good.” However, some continued to mock him by repeating his viral line, “Areh sir, lock karoo naa!”
