KBC 17: Kantara Chapter 1 actor and director Rishab Shetty became a pan-India star after his Kantara franchise became a blockbuster and won the hearts of the audience across the country. The emerging superstar recently graced as a contestant in Amitabh Bachchan’s reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. In a promo shared by the makers, Rishab can be seen having conversations with Big B and sharing a special gift with him. The Kannada actor is seen presenting a veshti to Amitabh Bachchan.

In the promo, reacting to Rishab Shetty’s gift, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Sir, I will definitely wear this. You have to learn the art of wearing this, warna idhar khisak jaae toh mamlaa international ho jaata hai (in case it moves, this can go quite wrong).” The stars then share a hearty laugh.

In another promo, Rishab can be seen asking Big B to channel his inner ‘Vijay Dinanath Chauhan’ and without thinking twice. Big B in his Agneepath character style, said, “Rishab Sahib, gyaarvah prashna tumhare screen pe abhi daalta hai dekho. 7 lakh 50 hazaar milega, usme se 50 hazaar tumhara, 7 lakh humara (Rishab sir, I am putting the 11th question on your screen. If you answer correctly, you will get Rs 7 lakh 50 thousand, out of which Rs 50 thousand is yours and Rs 7 lakh is mine).”

Rishab Shetty’s episode will broadcast on Friday at 9 pm on Sony Television Network. The show will start streaming on SonyLIV.

About Kantara Chapter 1

As per the official premise, the movie is set against the backdrop of the Kadamba period in Karnataka. The Kadambas were influential rulers whose contributions left a lasting impact on the region’s architecture and culture. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rukmini Vasanth, Rakesh Poojari, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah in pivotal roles. The movie released in theatres on October 2 in multiple languages- Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English. After 12 days of release, Kantara Chapter 1 had a box office collection of Rs 451.75 crore.
