Since the premiere of the first episode on July 29, Smriti Irani's show has received a positive response. The creator, Ektaa Kapoor, has retained the original cast with some new actors to bring back the sense of nostalgia. Episode 8 is finally out with developments in Angad's storyline. After being proven innocent and returning home from jail, the Virani family is elated and begins to celebrate this occasion. However, there are also emotional moments and revelations in this episode.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2's new episode begins with the news of Angad (Rohit Suchanti) getting bail. This brings relief to Tulsi and Mihir as they learn their son is not guilty. Celebration ensues at the Virani mansion, but Gayatri intervenes with her plan, trying to make Tulsi feel guilty about not trusting her son when Angad was falsely accused in the drink-and-drive accident. Hemant, Tulsi and Mihir go to the jail for Angad's bail. Once he is released, Angad informs the police that Sameer, his friend, is also innocent.
The scene shifts to Sameer apologising to Angad after the incident while being behind bars. He recalls how Angad took the blame on himself, while he was in the driver's seat. This makes Sameer feel guilty, but Angad assures him not to, as no one was harmed in the road accident. He also promises Sameer that he will get him out of jail.
The latest also shows the emotional and heartwarming moment between Tulsi and Angad.
Vrinda Apologises To Tulsi And Her Next Move Sparks Curiosity
When Vrinda learns that her brother took a bribe to frame Angad as the culprit, despite his innocence, she decides to help him out. She even confronts her mother, but Vrinda's mother slaps her and warns her against siding with the truth. She explains that if it happens, they will lose the money if the CCTV footage gets into the police's hands. Upset, Vrinda decides to help Tulsi despite her family's restriction.

The episode ends with an emotional moment between Pari and Mihir, where she agrees to meet the potential groom for her marriage. Meanwhile, Vrinda calls Tulsi to apologise for refusing to help earlier. They decide to meet in person to discuss the case.
