Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra Box Office:The first-ever female superhero movie in Malayalam and Indian cinema, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, has Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, and Sandy in the key roles. With its combination of fantasy, mythology, and intense action, the movie has become a cultural phenomenon. After surpassing the Rs 200 crore milestone worldwide, Lokah Chapter 1 is currently the fourth highest-grossing Mollywood film. The Malayalam cinema has successfully dominated every possible market in the world because to its flawless fusion of superhero themes and folklore.

Lokah accomplished the goal in just 13 days, making Kalyani Priyadarshan the first female lead to earn Rs 200 crore. The superhero movie became the second-fastest film to reach the Rs 200 crore milestone in 2025 after L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Lokah Chapter 1 made Rs 93.65 crore nett at the domestic box office, according to the tracking website Sacnilk. Following an incredible second weekend at the box office, the movie has made over Rs 5 crore on Monday and Tuesday. Dulquer Salmaan backed movie is doing incredibly well at the box office and doesn't appear to be slowing down.

Malayalam films Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra and Mohanlal's Hridaypoorvam for Onam were both premiered in theaters on August 28. Hridaypoorvam won the first day with Rs 3.25 crore thanks to Mohanlal's star power, whereas Lokah only managed Rs 2.7 crore. However, Lokah took the lead, and the pace shifted from the second day. The female superhero movie has not slowed down at the box office since.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Maine Pyar Kiya, starring Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan, were two additional films that were released for Onam. At the box office, neither movie made a mark; Maine Pyar Kiya earned Rs 0.38 crore, while Fahadh's Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira only made Rs 1.43 crore.

Lokah Chapter 1 Budget

Lokah Chapter 1 is praised for its bold narrative and scope. As Chandra, a lady who finds her incredible powers and turns into a ray of hope in a broken world, Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the important role in the movie. For a movie that was produced on a very small budget of about Rs 30 crore, the 200 crore+ gross is an incredible accomplishment.

Actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan, who also has a brief cameo in the movie, backed Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. While the Malayalam movie continues to do well in Australia and Germany, it is also being welcomed in other countries like Malaysia and Singapore.
