Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 24: Released on 25th July, Ashwin Kumar’s animated mythological epic Mahavatar Narsimha continues to roar at the box office even after 24 days of release. The film, backed by Hombale Films and Kleem Productions, has been drawing strong audiences across languages and formats. Made on a modest budget of around Rs 15 crore, the film’s success has been nothing short of historic. It has already surpassed Saaho and is now the 8th highest-grossing Hindi-dubbed film ever, as well as the 6th biggest Hindi film of 2025.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 8.15 crore India net on Day 24 for all languages. On Sunday, the movie recorded 58.11% occupancy for Hindi (2D), 72.78% occupancy for Telugu (2D) and an impressive 66.79% for Hindi (3D). By Day 24, Mahavatar Narsimha had grossed Rs 267 crore worldwide, including Rs 210.50 crore India net and Rs 16.50 crore overseas. With its powerful storytelling, devotional themes and strong box office run, Mahavatar Narsimha has become a landmark animated film in Indian cinema. Industry experts suggest it may soon cross Rs 250 crore in India alone, cementing its position as one of the year’s biggest hits.

About Mahavatar Narsimha Movie
Directed by debutant Ashwin Kumar, the film is the first instalment of the planned seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. It is based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu and in this first chapter, showcases the divine incarnations of Varaha and Narasimha. The film features voice performances from Aditya Raj Sharma, Haripriya Matta and Priyanka Bhandari, bringing to life the mythological storytelling in a visually rich animated format.
Mahavatar Narsimha OTT Release
While the film continues to shine in cinemas, attention has already turned to its OTT release. According to trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal, Mahavatar Narsimha is likely to stream in Hindi on JioHotstar, considering the platform’s previous collaborations with Hombale Films. Meanwhile, the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions could be released on other regional platforms.
