Mirzapur The Film Update: Fans have been eagerly awaiting more updates about the highly anticipated Mirzapur The Film ever since it was announced. The beloved crime-thriller franchise is gearing up for its big-screen debut, with the theatrical adaptation currently being filmed in Rajasthan. Adding to the excitement, Ali Fazal aka Guddu Bhaiya shared a behind-the-scenes moment from the film’s Rajasthan schedule. He also mentioned that Mirzapur The Film is being filmed across Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. It is slated to be released in 2026.
Taking to Instagram, Ali treated fans with a glimpse from the sets of Mirzapur The Film. The clip features Guddu Bhaiya’s unmistakable back-shot walk on set, instantly sending fans into a frenzy. Alongside the video, Ali expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Rajasthan for their warmth and hospitality during the shoot in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. His post read, "MIRZAPUR THE FILM . Shooting now. Rajasthan Schedule . Thank you Jaisalmer and Jodhpur for the immense love and hospitality that knows no bounds. Aapne humein apna samjha… To all the hotels that made us feel at home while we were toiling away from our own homes."

Mirzapur: The Film marks the big-screen expansion of one of India’s most successful OTT crime franchises. The film is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment.
Created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh, Mirzapur: The Film sees the return of the original cast. Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi, along with Abhishek Banerjee as Compounder, Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi and Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta. Fans are waiting to see who will replace Vikrant Massey in the film.
The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release in 2026, after which it will stream on the OTT platform Prime Video for audiences across India, eight weeks post its theatrical run.
