Palak Tiwari made a noticeable debut in the Bollywood industry with an action-comedy movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, headlined by Salman Khan. But before making her entry, she worked behind the camera as an assistant director for Salman’movie Antim: The Final Truth in 2019. It was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and starred Salman’s brother-in-law, Ayush Sharmal. In a recent interview, the ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ girl shared that she never thought of charging a fee for her work as an assistant director, simply because Salman Khan’s presence was enough for her.

Palak Tiwari said in an interview with Mashable India, "Paisa kya hota hai (What is money)? I am in Salman sir's presence, you think I'll ask for money? Why, I have never asked for money, ever! You can, Salman sir would say 'Sure'. But main bachchi, main kya he contribute karungi ki woh mujhe paise de yaar (I was a kid, how would I have contributed that they'd pay me)."

Shweta Tiwari’s daughter also mentioned that Salman Khan had been her mentor since day one and how his advice changed her career path altogether. “It was at some Bigg Boss reunion, where Salman sir told my mom how tall I had become. He then said, ‘Kuch karna warna he life mei’ (Have you thought of anything with your life)? I said, ‘Yes sir I want to be an actor, sir.’ I was 17-18. He said that before you become an actor you need to learn what happens behind the camera. He is such a cool guy,” she said.

Talking about her being a fangirl, she expressed that even after working in a movie with him, whenever she meets or gets a message from the star, she always gets starstruck. Palak further added that she usually never gets starstruck, no matter who is sitting in front of her. But when she is in Salman Khan’s presence, the actress starts stuttering. Once, Sultan star also made her feel relaxed and said, “Aaram se bolo (talk calmly).”

On the work front, Palak is carving her space in the industry and was last seen in a horror-comedy movie, The Bhootnii. She also made headlines with her stunning dance moves in Harrdy Sandhu’s single, Bijlee Bijlee.
