Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are all set to step into a new phase of their lives as parents. The couple, expecting their first child, thrilled their fans with this delightful news of Patralekhaa’s pregnancy on July 9 on social media. The actress shared her mother's epic reaction to their pregnancy announcement. She revealed how her mother had given up hope that they would plan for a baby but was thrilled after Patralekhaa and Rajkummar broke the news to her.
Patralekhaa shared that, besides them, her mother is the most excited about the pregnancy. In a conversation with Bombay Times, she said, “My mum is super thrilled! I loved her reaction. When we told her we are pregnant, she couldn’t believe it because at one point she had given up on us (laughs). I remember one day she said, ‘You guys don’t want to plan it… I am not going to ask you anymore.'"
Patralekhaa mentioned that motherly instincts have already been there as they are parents to two puppies. She stated, “We have our two puppies, who are our babies, so the motherly instinct has already kicked in." In addition to it, Rajkummar said, “I was ready whenever she was ready. So, one day we discussed that maybe now we should take that next step and extend our family. God’s been really kind."
