Pawan Kalyan’s highly awaited Telugu movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu has once again been postponed. The historical action drama was originally scheduled to release in cinemas on 12 June 2025, but the makers have now confirmed it won’t meet that date. Set against the backdrop of the Mughal empire during Aurangzeb’s reign, the Telugu movie tells the tale of a legendary warrior and outlaw, Veera Mallu played by Pawan Kalyan, who challenges authority and becomes a symbol of rebellion. With grand visuals, strong performances, and soul-stirring music, the movie promises to be a cinematic spectacle for audiences across the country.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Reason For Delay
Hari Hara Veera Mallu makers in a press statement issued on June 6 confirming the postponement wrote, “With heartfelt gratitude, we thank all the fans, well-wishers, and cinema lovers who have stood by Hari Hara Veera Mallu with unwavering patience and belief. Despite relentless efforts to meet the previously announced release date of June 12, 2025, we must inform you that the film will not be hitting theatres as scheduled." The reason for the delay is said to be the extensive post-production work still underway. As per Pinkvilla, a major chunk of the Telugu movie’s VFX and sound design is yet to be completed. The team wants to ensure high standards in visual effects, dubbing, and overall presentation. Reports suggest that the new expected release date could be 4 July 2025, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed.

The Telugu movie boasts a star-studded cast. Pawan Kalyan plays the titular role of Veera Mallu, while Bollywood actor Bobby Deol appears as a powerful Mughal emperor. Nidhhi Agerwal stars as the leading lady, adding grace and charm to the narrative. The supporting cast includes Vikramjeet Virk and Nora Fatehi in key roles. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is directed by A.M. Jyothi Krishna and produced by A. Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Production banner. The music and visuals are expected to play a major role in elevating the overall storytelling.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is being made as a pan-India movie and will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
