Raakh First Look Out: Ali Fazal has officially announced his upcoming fictional web series Raakh, an investigative crime thriller that will dive deep into the psychological complexities of morality, justice and redemption. The series features an impressive ensemble cast led by Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir alongside Ali Fazal. Directed by Prosit Roy, best known for Anushka Sharma’s Chakdaa Xpress, the show promises to deliver an intense and layered narrative. Produced by EndemolShine India and Gulbadan Talkies, Raakh is executive produced and directed by Prosit Roy. The series has been created, written and co-directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket, with dialogues penned by Ayush Trivedi.

Ali Fazal, who earned wide popularity through his role in Mirzapur, will be seen playing a police officer in Raakh. His first-look poster was unveiled earlier today, giving audiences a glimpse into his gritty new avatar. The reveal has already caught the attention of fans, including his wife Richa Chadha, who left a cheeky comment under the post which read, “Woof! Keep that uniform.” While Fazal’s look has set the tone for what viewers can expect, the makers have kept the plot details under wraps. The first looks of Sonali Bendre, who returns to a powerful role after her successful digital debut, and Aamir Bashir, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
