After investigating for four years, the CBI has officially closed the case on actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The agency said there is no proof that Rhea Chakraborty or anyone else forced, threatened, or helped him commit suicide. However, Sushant’s family said they plan to challenge the CBI’s report. They are unhappy because the agency cleared Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik of any involvement in his death, which the family feels does not answer their concerns.
Hours after the news broke, Showik Chakraborty shared a post on social media promoting his fashion brand, accompanied by a cryptic message about peace. Showik, along with his sister Rhea, owns the brand Chapter 2. On Wednesday night, he posted a picture of a jacket from the brand’s catalogue on Instagram, which featured the phrase: "Peace over projection."

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020 at the age of 34. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik, who had been living with him until a few days before his death, were arrested and investigated for abetment and related charges, which were later dropped. Despite the charges being cleared, both siblings spent time in prison during the course of the investigation.
