Shaan Grover has emerged as a promising new face in Bollywood, gaining significant attention for his role as Mahesh Iyer in Saiyaara. However, his journey in the entertainment industry began before Mohit Suri’s superhit movie, with appearances in various digital projects like the Netflix film Noblemen and web series such as Roohaniyat, Leaked, and Dus June Ki Raat. He also worked behind the scenes as an assistant director for the film Sanam Teri Kasam. His performance as the antagonist in Saiyaara has resonated strongly with audiences, with many praising his portrayal of a negative character. Viewers appreciated his screen presence and the brief yet impactful chemistry he shared with Aneet Padda.
Shaan Grover recently got candid during an exclusive interview with The Daily Jagran and talked about his bond with the leading actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda behind the camera. The actor shared that he had known Ahaan for a very long time and said, “We have a very very very beautiful relationship, the friendship is very pure. He keeps supporting me and I keep supporting him,” Shaan expressed.

Shaan also shared an anecdote about their friendship and mentioned that throughout the year, Ahaan always messaged him once or twice, motivating him to believe in himself, and interestingly, Ahaan did his first film with Shaan. “He is a beautiful man. I will always cherish and remember every time he messaged me that ‘Buddy you have got that fire in you, just hang in there.’ I am always praying for him and he is always praying for me,” he narrated.
He also expressed that they don’t talk a lot, but whenever they do, there is always a mutual respect and love between them. Further, talking about the leading actress of the movie, Aneet Padda, Shaan exclaimed that the duo is not best of friends, but they do share a beautiful friendship and it will always be there since they have done their first movie together. “With Aneet, it's a jovial, fun, happy-go-lucky kind of friendship and it will always be there.”

Further, during the interview, when asked about how his life changed after doing Saiyaara, the actor recalled that initially, he was petrified after seeing all the memes revolving around his character from the film. But after some time, he realised that all the hate towards his character was actually love towards him by the audience. Referring to all the criticism, backlash and memes circulating online, Shaan Grover said that this was the best thing that happened to him.
Spilling beans about his upcoming projects, Shaan revealed that he had done a musical web series, which was shot last year, but it hasn’t been released yet. Apart from that, the star has been busy shooting some music videos. He also mentioned that he is in talks for two films and would love to do a romantic role. He is also open to doing horror-comedy and action movies, as he is a trained martial artist as well.
