Satish Shah, known for his work in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, died at the age of 74 on October 25. The actor’s sudden death created a shockwave in the entertainment industry. Hours after his demise, Shah’s last post has been going viral on social media. In his last tweet, the late actor remembered Shammi Kapoor with a group photo. He mentioned how much he missed the legendary actor. Satish Shah made the tweet on October 24, just a day before his death.

Satish Shah tweeted, “Happy B’day dearest Shammi ji. You are always around for me.” Fans are mourning his death. A user said, “Bhagwan Satish Shahji ko to sadgati de his never fading smile and positivity will stay forever. He will be remembered for the warmth and smiles he bought to our lives.” Another wrote, “Miss u Sarabhai.” A tweet read, “Just heard the news of your passing, very sad to hear. We watched many of your movies, may God rest your soul in peace.”

Another tweet read, “Om shanti Satish ji ! Ishwar aapko sadgati pradaan karein ! You were indeed a blessed man!” A fan tweeted, “RIP sir. You were the first comedian on TV who effortlessly made me laugh.” Another wrote, “A tragic coincidence- Shammi Kapoor ji also departed due to kidney failure- maybe in his final moments, he could feel his presence too? The world will never knew the secrets of death.”

The news of his death was shared by his friend and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, who claimed that he had passed away due to Kidney failure on his Instagram post. Sharing the news, Pandit wrote, “Sad and shocked to inform you that our dear friend and a great actor Satish Shah has expired few hours ago due to kidney failure . He was rushed to Hinduja hospital where he breathed his last . A great loss to our industry . Om Shanti.”

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai creator JD Majethia also told Hindustan Times that Shah had been unwell for the past few months and had undergone a kidney transplant. Later, he developed an infection. The creator also mentioned that Satish passed away at his Mumbai residence. He was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late by then.
